If the key fob is dead you can still crank the vehicle buy pushing the start button with the key fob. So I've been told

But no you can not pop the start button out. That's what the dealer said anyways.

If the key fob does you have to hold the remote against the push button for it to read the transponder. With the battery dead it can't transmit. The vehicle will only recognize the key if it's held right against the push button

Hmm interesting. I have a starting problem on my 2014 4 banger, but it only occurs if I stall the engine cold. Usually have to crank it 2 or 3 times and it sputters to life there is no problem when the engine is warm. It usually only happens In the winter. Reading these posts it sounds like it's happeningoing on a cold engine

    Yes the trolls.

The ignore button you click on the persons user name under there avatar, a box pops open and there are several features listed, just click on the "Ignore" and that persons posts do not show up in any threads. Try it you'll like it.

Hey guys, I rushed over as soon as I heard an anonymous tip about a guy who doesnt have a 3rd gen trolling 3rd gens. The sort of thing that happens when non-3rd gen owners come into the 3rd gen section. hopefully I'm not too late. We cant afford the general public to believe the shit coming out of this guys mouth.
