Be aware, this is a wheeling trip, not a meet and greet. My truck has a few scars from trying to get up the 5* trail in that second picture.

Damn it!! my local hole is being ruined!!! I havent been out there in a couple months. There was some equipment out there last time i was out but it was all along the service road. There are trails all through that place so i imagine there is still some places to play.

The place is pretty big... May have to drive out there and check it out. Maybe after all this rain.

I drive past this spot 2-3 times a week. They have moved huge piles of earth out there. Last time I was out there was to pull out a guy in a broken truck. I was lucky the cops did not hit me for trespassing but they wrote my buddy up for trespass and destruction of private property. A couple of days after it rained last there was a guy out there on the east side of it stuck, and Garland PD had cops all over the place. I asked for permission to go help pull the truck out and was told they are impounding the truck. I am not sure all the details but I would avoid the area unless you want to catch a ticket at least. There are other areas with less chance of getting nailed in the area.

I agree. I've seen lots of police in that area at Campbell and George Bush. I haven't gone in there in over a year. It just isn't worth it.

If you want to go offroading, just go to the park at Bridgeport. There's tons of space and different obstacles to do there. Not to mention a bunch of cool off-road rigs to look at

By far the best advice, an hour drive and $40 to get in is worth the peace of mind of knowing you aren't going to get hit with a felony trespassing. Plus it's more fun than a torn up field.
