...This may be true....but PLASTIC bags do not come from trees....they are a petroleum bi-product?....

...about the only problem in SoCal is a few discarded bags get blown into the ocean.....and ingested by sea-turtles, etc..

..But...statistically.....the Biggest threat to sea-critters is Styrofoam!...and there are TONS of tons of that lethal crap in the ocean.....and everywhere else, too!....

There is a handful of people on eBay that sells these to include one of our own tw members. I got mine for 16.99 shipped so that should help you narrow down the seller

I apologise if you've already answered this (I haven't made it through all 150+ pages on this) but I was wondering how you hardwired in your dashcam?

Page sixty of the navigation manual....all you need is a usb thumb drive. You will need to create a folder with the name "StartupImage" (case sensitive)and drop the jpeg images in that folder. Than plug it's your trucks use port and go to Apps..Settings..General..custom StartupImage and then just transfer the images. Pretty straight forward

I want to paint the grill on my TRD Sport...Black.
Live in the northeast where there is lots of salt and gravel on the roads in the winter and I want something that will hold up and look good for a while.
    Don't want to "derp" it.
can someone tell me the best process to prep the chrome surface and what to use?
I had thought about sand blasting the chrome to give it texture, then prime with an epoxy based primer, then paint with a flattened urethane black single stage paint.
Any thoughts or better ideas out there ???

I just took mine to a reputable body shop and they advised strongly against having it painted, said there are too many nooks and crannies to try and get it all roughed up to make the paint hold and even if they did... too many edges exposed to road debris being kicked up, said the paint would end up chipping and peeling and look like crap in a year or two.

I'm waiting for an aftermarket grille that I really like or I may just go SR5 grille.

Makes sens on the paint idea...didn't really think about all that.

I would love to have the SR5 grill, but just can't justify $350 for the complete unit...it would be so much cheaper if you could buy just the insert...I have no idea why Toyota is only selling the grill with the color match bezel included...from what I understand, they come apart pretty easy.

If Toyota is true in what they say, they want to make their vehicles cheaper to repair-hence the 3 piece rear bumper they claim was to make it cheaper to repair...so why do they only offer the entire grill and not individual pieces???

Makes no sense to me at all !!!!

Agree, Cody, would be very helpful if they would sell the grille in bits and pieces and not as an entire assembly. I've seen some threads on the board where people are offering to swap grilles. Some SR/SR5 owners prefer the TRD grille. If you can find someone local.....

Yes, if you look close at the tires they are made to do just that. Have a 16 4X4 and put those on black side out, so... And FYI they ran all the way down Baja with a lot of miles on the Baja 500 track. Rough... KO2's are amazing, though they did drop the mileage a bit.

I'm already registered with the local "U-Pull" parts lots for 2016 Tacomas. Someone is gonna wreck one soon, and then I'm going to get a discount grill to mess with (provided they got T-boned or rear-ended).
