This looks much better then my design. I've decided I'm going to cut mine apart this summer and redo it.

Did you make those shock mounts or are those the Total Chaos ones?

I will post the shock design sheet once I get everything fitted up but they are 10" shocks.

The leafs are from Deaver and are pretty similar to their expedition pack I think. I got the Toytec adjustable shackles because I wasn't sure how much lift I would get from the springs. As it turned out I got a lot so I added a hole to the shackles to drop them down closer to stock length.

Nice! You have pretty much the exact setup I want to throw in the back of mine some day.

How much lift did you end up getting before you added the extra hole in the shackle?

I'm pretty sure the springs are giving me about 3.5" with the bed off. The shackles are 1" longer than stock so add 1/2" at the axle for a total of 4" of lift. Once the bed is on I can measure to the wheel well and compare to my old height. I'm hoping it comes in at around 3".

    Cool, thanks for the info!

I wasn't sure whether or not to keep my All Pro expos leafs are get the Deavers. I like my 4"+ of lift in the rear.

Here's a question, If I'm running the Wheelers HD pack, do I need extended length rear shocks? If so, how much extra length do I need to tell the dealer to have ADS add? Threads on the Wheelers Pack state that people are getting around 1.5-2.5" of lift from them.

It might be in this thread some pages back but I think Matt @MCMFAB said he uses the 10 inch ones that were developed to use with the Deaver expo pack. If you don't find it just contact Matt @mcmfab he will help you out.

I don't think that ADS makes rear shocks for the OEM mounts. It might be best to work through MCM to get something custom made.

Edit: @SigGuy I just noticed that you are second gen. Prolly disregard what I said about OEM mounts.

MCM has a dedicated ADS rear piggyback that fits in the oem mounts. Wont work with stock leafs though.

Pretty sure he has oem travel as well.

I just called him the other day to place my order. ADS on all 4 corners

Where can I find more info on the ADS weld in front bump stop kit for the 2nd gen tacoma? I went on the ADS website and it had a small pic and a description, but nothing about pricing and install.

Give me a call and I can get you set up with the brackets if you want. I've done it on quite a few Tacomas and have all the files saved. Will just require some minor grinding and trimming.

The rear shocks, IIRC , say up to 2 or 2.5in lift. What happens with a 3in leaf pack, like Allpro?

Here are some shots of the rear shocks that Brian built for me. The fitup is looking pretty sweet so far.
