    F series numbers make sense. As an American male you either have had to own a Harley or an f series to have a sense of worth. Great marketing schemes.

    I agree with that, plus add in lower fuel costs and GM entering back into the midsize truck market for generating more interest too.

    I've got the Harley, but I'll stick with the Tacoma, at least for a daily driver. Now, a 50's F100 hot rod for the weekend....that would be mighty fine.

    And the fact that the sales number is equal to all F-150, F-250, and F-350 sales combined. That's at least two types of truck, where the Tacoma is just one. If Silverado and Sierra were combined like that they'd give Ford a run for their money when it comes to sales.
