Yeah and add to that a bunch of cars in a gym parking lot.. like grocery store. And the freeway's right there for quick exit. Dumb me for keeping my bag on my passenger seat, was going to hide it but needed to get in and get out of the gym.

Truck's parked in the garage while I wait out the first major el nino storm of the season that's suppose to rain non-stop for the next 5 days and figure out how I'm going to get my truck to the shop to get a new window put in.

I've been skiing off and on for about 15 years, never been boarding before, and won't :)

Couldn't make it yesterday because I was dealing with my truck being broken in to, so I decided to go today. Took me 4.5 hours to go 35 miles up the 138 and the 2. The snow was actually pretty good for the most part. Some icy spots on the less used trails where they aren't making snow also, but otherwise no issues. Got in about 2 good hours of skiing before I had to leave to get home, then another 2 hours to drive home. So all in all, I drove 6.5 hours to ski for 2 hours. fml.

Has anyone seen a "Prerunner" looking Ford Ranger with a huge American Flag in the back and the "bro lean" tooling around the Beaumont area?

Very nice!! Yea I'm kinda disappointed I never went before. I've been missing out all these years! I've been tempted to try skiing. It was the same on Saturday lol. My friend lives up there and posted a video of the line, it was the same. The snow was good Friday night. Didn't take long to get up to the mountain. But the lines were rediculous. Man yea that sucks that you did all that driving, but at least you got some time in!!

Skiing and snowboarding are two different animals. Some people like both but most stick to one or the other. I like being able to manipulate both feet and go straight down facing the direction I'm going. I was never a skateboarder though. I remember the first time I went skiing though and I fell in love with it like you did with snow boarding.
