You sound like a super guy.

Most people have to pay 200 bucks or more deductible with a windshield claim. I suppose if someone keyed your car you'd laugh it off and say that's what insurance is for?

My insurance has replaced five windshields in a couple of my wife's cars over the years due to her tendency to tailgate. We even had to replace mine once because she borrowed my truck and returned it with a cracked windshield. I haven't had any problems with rocks hitting me because I don't tailgate. Somebody cuts me off, they get my finger but I don't ride their bumper, I just give them a safe distance and continue to swear under my breath.

Wife does what she does, she's stubborn so I'm the last person she'll listen to correct any of her bad habits.

I removed my mudflaps long ago to dissuade people like her from tailgating especially in the rain. I haven't been rear-ended yet and no one has contacted me to try and replace their windshield in case my truck tire launched a rock. I'm happy and feel justified in my reasons to do it, the OP can do whatever he wants because it really doesn't matter to me if he keeps them or not.

I sure would. I don't make that payment for nothing. I have no windshield deductible

Not trying to sound like a smart ass but why ask a question like that. Do what you want to do not what someone else thinks. Why not ask us what color shirt you should wear to work tomorrow also.

SouthEast toyota puts on stripes. I took mine off with a hair dryer and my fingers, Took about half hour. I would not try to take them off in cold weather though. I took mine off within weeks of delivery,

Those stripes are hideous. Reminds me of all those ugly pinstripes the early 90'a Chevy's had that were put on by the dealer. Most started to come loose off the paint in just a couple of years. Gross.
