Circuit City?

I thought they went belly up?

 

i thoght so too. i called and asked them and they said a company called Systemax (spelling?) bought them out. they are currently just operating online and have no stores open.

i asked how can my warranty be valid then, they said they would send me an RMA and have me ship the defective item back to them and they would repair or replace it and ship it back.

 

Wow...seems kinda weird they'd actually want to use that 'circuit city' name again after all the negative (closing) media. I mean.... When I clicked on that website and saw Circuit city - I immediately thought someone forgot to shut down the website. And my next thought was...."hmmm seems kinda fishy"
