no winch or other high draw goodies, it's not worth the cost if you don't really need a battery
deep cycle batteries don't like constant hard charging that a typical alternator puts out. the odds that it will last more than a year or so in a DD aren't in your favor.

didn't say they were a bad battery
$300+ for a battery that you have no local support for is one reason ( nearest dealer is in Chesapeake VA ) If it goes, you now have an expensive paper weight you need to find warranty for, and then ship said paper weigh.
using a deep cycle in a Daily driver is a waste of the battery, the alternator will cook it off before it's intended life cycle, especially in the heat of an NC summer ( something the Canucks have no worries of )

having deep cycles in camper and dealing with them at work a lot, I've gotten a better understanding, most people have no clue how to care for a battery.
