    When I bought my FJ55 in Lake Louise I swapped the transmission and t-case outside in the winter. Had to go indoors to run cold water over my hands to warm them enough to let go of the wrench!

    I am so glad those days are gone. Built a new home 4 years ago.... Wife got a house and I got 900sq ft of "never heating up a tube of grease on the defroster again"

    I was looking at Kijiji and Auto Trader about 12 times every day in every province. I had just about come to accept that I would have to fly to Ontario for DC 6 speed when this one came up.

    Closest thing to Summit in the East is the FJNortheasters Annual Run in May in Pennsylvania. Rausch Creek Offroad Park. So very cool. Last year we had over 160 Toyotas ( one or two jeeps and a Pinz). It is a well organized event. T wo official trail days and a big raffle dinner.

    Downside is it is 14hrs from Saint John. Normally with a little planning you can hook up a decent caravan starting around Portland. I think this one coming up is #9. I have done six of eight so far.
