265 to 285 depending on how much you wanna cut. I think 265 with 20" wheels would fit but I'm not entirely sure.

For reference, I know 265/75/16 will fit for sure.

I saw some TRD 20"s the other day that I didn't mind so much... but most 20"s look pretty trashy, IMHO.

depends on the width of your wheels and offset as well. If your running something 8" wide or less with 0 offset you should be able to clear 33s with maybe very little trimming.

Non yet that's y I'm here to find out what is the best mod.
I'm with you alfred2014trdsprort. I wanna put 20s on also but don't what what tire. I have the Ranchu quick lift on my 2005 taco and my 265/70r16 rub some times. Crap how much trimming will I have to do to a set of 285's?

rim diameter has fuck all impact. It's not the rim that rubs, it's the tire. You could run 30" rims if you could find the right tire to go with it. You need the offset of the rim and the aspect ratio of the tires.

Also, don't go with 20's. Get a nice set of 17's and some good high quality tires. It will ride a hell of a lot smoother and you will be immune to curb rash.

I have the Enkei Deep 6 20" wheels with 275/60 20 (33") on a 2" lift. Had to cut some plastic and remove the flaps. Doesn't rub during daily driving, but it does with a decent amount of flexing. If you want 20s, get them. I know it's frowned upon on TW. The ride is not bad as people assume. But a thicker tire will make it better.

Are sporting 20" wheels any worse than those who attach shovels, axes, and 30" light bars to their roof racks to appear they drive off-road, and don't, but are really on their way to grand ma ma's to freshen up her mulch bed? Your truck.
