Curious about fit. Was it much hassle to make it work? Gaps in fitup?

Looking good Adam. I met 2 of the TW guys here on Guam last night. Had a few beers and ate some fresh Mahi Mahi at a dude named Marlboro's house. TW provides me another fun night in a foreign place.

 

How do you like Guam? My wife has a work opportunity as an NP to go there for a few weeks and teach some people. She can't decide if she wants to do it or not.

 

For a few weeks I'd definitely recommend it. This is my 2nd time being "deployed" here and both were 30 day trips. I wouldn't live here but it's a lot of fun. Lots of cool hiking, diving, kayaking, fishing, etc. It's beautiful. But tell her to try her best to not be here in the middle of the summer its freaking HOT and crazy humid. It's in the 90s now. You also get the oh so fun walls of fist sized rain that come outta nowhere and last 10 mins but I'm used to that from 2 years on Okinawa.

Jumped it right into a pool of pussy earlier.

 

Cheap Chinese and fits just like the safari. Actually used the safari template of Kurts. Had to modify two holes I believe make them lower. believe.

 

Holding the flares on. Snapped too many clips and went to wind rock and ripped the entire passenger side off and tore all those clip holders. So improvised.

Nice. Yeah that seems to be common to rip them off. I never got to find out as I went to fiberglass fenders the same time as 35s and I just took my back ones off.

 

Turns out that it did lower the front end because I just had to do the BFH mod to my pinchweld and corner of my fender

 

Can you take a pic looking from front of how it aligns with fender?

 

Did you get an alignment with the extra same specs as before/

 

Yes.............yes they are lol it was nice on the inside though, full leather and shit

 

Camber is a half degree in both sides, caster is 5 on one side and like 5.5 on the other and toe is 0 on both sides

 

Huh? 5° caster?? Is that possible? And it's not the height that is making you rub now, its the 7" wider stance you have.

 

Yea, I was kinda confused as well. And I know. I think because it was so lifted before, that it kinda pulled the wheels in a little bit.

 

@423 TACO glad we met up! Wish we went trailing, but it was getting a little late to go into the jungle.

 

This may be a stretch but does anyone in the Knoxville area (or anywhere in TN for that matter) have one of the ECGS bushing tools for the 7.5" first gen front diff? Willing to trade cash, beer, or some combination of the two. Needing to replace mine before too long and hate to shell out $60 for the thing new. Thanks in advance
