Thanks! The ride is great. Even my wife noticed while going over the speed bumps in our neighborhood that the compression and rebound of the kings is super smooth compared to the OME. Thanks @SconnieHailer for the tips on the valving and thanks to Micah at Downsouth Motorsports for getting these set up right.

Yeah I went and flew through a little dirt road down by the lake today that I hit with the OMEs last week and it was quite the difference. My back end bucks all over the place trying to keep up with the front but I am all out of funds for now. Once the rear is built to match the truck will be perfect for anything I will ever do with it.

Probably will get kings that bolt into the factory location and get them built a little longer to work with the dakars.

Glad you like the setup

Go fast is fun! My rear barely keeps up with the front. Its the nature of spring over axle partially, just run out of up travel.

On another note, I am starting to look into options for the rear. I have pretty well decided that despite the travel gains from a shock relocation kit I don't want to deal with the extra work and fabrication that goes into it. I am happy to have the features I do on the front end but having the truck down and spending almost two full days of vacation to get it all installed got old quick. I would have much rather been out using the truck those two days. With my time becoming more and more limited I want to spend less time modding and more time exploring.

I brought this up in the Mid Travel BS Thread but the responses over there can be mixed. Wanted to keep the info here for reference too.

So shocks that bolt into the stock location (I will be doing remote reservoir regardless):

Kings - 2.5" Diameter 15.83" collapsed and 24.29" extended, 8.46" travel. DSM makes a longer one for the Dakar Leaf Pack but you don't gain any travel you just get +1" in extended and collapsed length. ~$750
    Fox - 2.0 Diameter 15.2" collapsed and 24.8 extended, 9.6" travel. ~$450
    Fox - 2.5 Diameter 15.65" collapsed and 25.02" extended, 9.37" travel. ~$850

All of these shocks are going to fit pretty well into travel range that I have with the rear Dakars and the weight I typically carry. The longer Kings from DSM will actually need longer bumpstops to make sure they don't bottom out when collapsed so I don't gain much there. I really would like to have a 2.5" diameter shock to get the most oil capacity but the I really like the travel range of the 2.0 foxes.

Played with the camera a little tonight to try and get some city shots with the truck. I am terrible with the camera but it was fun anyway.

Got some wheelers superbumps on the front tonight. Quick easy install and should give a nice setup if I ever compress the suspension hard enough. May need some spacers for them in the future as I learn more about how this suspension is going to handle.

Also got everything measured and dialed in for limit straps. Going to order all the parts tomorrow most likely.

You will definitely need some spacers for the superbumps. I think I used 2 3/8" ones from wheelers per side. Plus the spacer dirt king sent. Gotta make sure the coil doesn't "block". If the coil compresses enough the coils will touch and the whole thing essentially becoms a block of metal. = bad bad. You have to go pretty hard to get that far but I've felt it with the 700# coil

Yeah I remember you mentioning that. Total chaos provides a weld on spacer but it is about 3/4" thick.

Yep same thickness as dk's. You are definitely going to want to use that. The weld on part is confusing it should just be a washer puck type. I used two of the wheelers larger spacers underneath the spacer provided by dirt king. You should be able to see it in the pictures somewhere in my build.

Yeah I didn't get why it was weld on. It is a puck but is threaded all the way through. I just threaded it on to the super bump bolt all the way and then threaded it into the mount on the frame, no welding. The super bump bolt is a little short and will definitely need to be replaced if I get more spacers.
