I had one salesman tell me back in September or October "Of course the hood scoop on the Sport is functional! It brings cool air into the engine bay" When I casually mentioned it would be nice if the scoop was there for something besides looks... I bit my tongue and remained quite, as I had no plans to buy from them at their inflated prices. I just wanted to get an early look at the trucks and drive a manual.

Another told me that there would be no 4x4, manual, access cab, Sports, because it did not show up on the "Build Your Tacoma" site back in September. I tried to tell him it would and the model was 7559, but he said "Nope, the 'Build your Tacoma' is for the entire country, and no one wants to drive a manual anyway, especially in southern California."

Back on topic, I plan to read the manual once I get the truck in my garage. Some salesmen may have learned a few things in the last couple of months, but based on experience I wont really trust anything they say.

Not meant to call you out specifically. It is another decently sized technical read.

No problem. I don't do tech so I doubt I'll read that manual. I traded in a 2015 Colly and the radio/personallation features were similar to my Tacoma. I just play with the settings every time I'm in my truck. I think I have it where I want it now. Probably return it to factory settings and re-do it after the 3 month free SiriusXM runs out.
