Havent had a chance to ask, but last week my dealer told me he got a memo from Toyota stating the leaf spring TSB has been extended to the 09 and 10s. Maybe someone that has access can look up the TSBs for a revision?

Might help some out that have had trouble getting it.

updating since many dont want to read all the pages this has turned into. YES, it was officially updated in January that 09 and 10 models are included in the TSB. The link to the new updated TSB is in this thread

I hope this is true, I'm taking my '09 in this weekend to get the ECM reflashed to help with tranny lagging and was going to try to wheedle the Leaf spring TSB out of them as well.

I sure hope so as well. I don't want to have to go in and fight with Toyota to get the work done.

    Okay...........new here..........what does "subscribed" mean?
I just got a 2010 access cab less than 2 weeks ago. Have not had the opportunity to haul anything with any weight, but am curious as how to get this checked out.

    Thanks!

I hope this is true eventhough I already had mine done. You just have to find the right dealer and a service advisor that is willing to step up to the plate and argue with Toyota. The part numbers are the same as the old one...so that was my argument. I got the TSB done with roughly 1500 miles on the truck. Well worth it. Good luck.

    completely stock
he told the guy with the 4x4 it only applies to 2wd

I have no issues with my reg cab, probably because there is less vehicle weight on the rear springs...probably why reg cabs are excluded from the tsb

I had the TSB installed on my 09 yesterday and I have to say it is definitely worth having this done. A much better ride. Especially for 4X4. For the fellow taco owners in the Charleston, SC area I got it done at Gene Reed. Chris Kling took care of me. I had no problems getting it approved.
