Does it lay across the top or into one of the slots?

It stands up (barrel down) in the middle slot. I took the middle divider out like how they recommend for cd's. The lid is concave on the inside so it has plenty of room. I'll snap a pic when I leave work for lunch.

image.jpg This happened today. Even though I've owned my truck for 8 months, I've been out of the country for half that time.

No worries! 4.75 will be close. I know most people run 4-4.5" bs which clear 285s. I think you might be able to get away with it, if not you could get some smaller spacers instead of the 1.25 spidertrax.

    Over the long holiday weekend:
    1) Replaced dome lights with led's - love the look
    2) Anytime fog lights - got a p0144 error code so I pulled 12v from an alternate location
    3) Locker anytime mod
    4) Did my own under hood lighting - super easy if you have a good solder station, a little extra wire, etc lying around. This one cost me about $40 and I have enough led's and supplies to do the hood, glovebox, and bed, and still have leftover led's.

now if only I had some money for the big stuff...

Maaaaaaan, I wish you would have left it chrome. I'm about to do the exact same thing and have been wondering if I should leave it chrome or not. I can't find any pictures of a black truck with custom grill and chrome surround.

I know, you guys despise chrome, but I like the contrast it creates on black trucks.

Welcome home! From what I've observed, I thought they were giving a test before you could purchase a 2016 to make certain your skin wasn't too thick. Some of those newbies get so distraught with just the slightest hint of teasing!

Through high school and college, I was involved in sports, then spent 4 years playing GI Joe. Being in a group that became more or less like "family" all that time, it became second nature to tease and be teased....and when you let it be known that someone was getting under your skin, the teasing became relentless. I still do that. Some people just roll with the punches, laugh it off, and give it straight back at ya! Others let their blood boil.

20160107_125439_HDR.jpg 20160107_132142_HDR.jpg 20160107_133258_HDR.jpg Spent my lunch break painting the used rims I bought. I'm not a huge fan of flat paint on my own vehicle & these were 3 years old. I like to think I'm pretty good with a rattle can after doing several projects so... shake & bake it is! I'm sure everyone has their own preference for the paint they'll use but after stripping the chrome off some 22's for my Tahoe & this paint holding up really well I'm not concerned.
