I'm pretty sure you replied to my post, not the other way around. As far as me being an A$$hole I am simply asking questions. You claim that you don't work for Toyota yet you keep representing yourself as a service writer for them. Several people have told YOU that they have had a part replaced under a Toyota issued TSB after they lifted their truck and YOU either won't believe them or simply call them a moron for telling you so.

Warranty covers stock parts on stock vehicles. I don't expect Toyota or any other manufacturer to warranty my aftermarket part that I replaced.

You call me an a$$hole and called others here morons. Good luck with that mentality.

Interesting that you are comparing a suspension change to NOS... that is what we call a non sequitur.

Wrong. Warranty covers manufacturing issues or abnormalities with assembly. The needle bearing issue isn't caused by lifting of the truck. Lifting of the truck just amplifies a vibration/part alignment issue that is already seen in many stock trucks. This is why it will be covered under the TSB. If the modification done to the vehicle isn't the root cause of the issue... And Toyota already knows the cause of the issue.... And you follow Toyotas TSB instruction to prove the issue... I understand your points of warranty coverage say a shot of nitrous to an engine but it isn't relevant in this case.

I just sifted thru these 5 pages and have to ask a question. My experience tells me when changing a driveline angle there is more stress on a bearing (needle or bushing, needle would be a better bearing surface over a bushing almost any day), the increased or decreased angle will either stress a bearing or put the needles in a neutral position where lube quality or stress will increase wear on the bearing. Increased wear would equate to having more vibration or an oscillation effect.

There wouldn't be a TSB unless a significant amount of stock-height trucks were having problems.

minimal angle change. Maybe 5' change with no additional force with 1.75 of lift at wheel.

I've got just over 600mi, completely stock with this vibration. Hit and miss when it happens, goes away putting it in 4wd. I did go under the truck to check it out, compared to the passenger side with practically none, the driver side has a bunch of radial play moving it with my hand. Not too pleased, love the truck otherwise

Mine goes into the shop on Monday for evaluation and then repair (hopefully). I provided them with the TSB that was issued for the 2005-2015. So far my dealer sounds have been good to work with. I will know more on Monday and will post their findings.

Please do, my dealership told me I "must have had it in crawl mode are you sure you didn't leave it in?". When I said pretty sure because I don't have crawl mode, they gave me an appointment date lol

This is another reason I only own Toyota. That sucks that the "other" manufacturer docks the mechanics pay for repairing a warranty claim.

Hello, hopefully this is not a stupid question. My truck is going to the dealer Monday for the vibration they are going to install the bushing. Origionally the dealer told me to keep driving it they thought it would go away. I have put 1,200 miles on the truck. I first noticed the vibration at around 200 miles thats when the dealer checked it out and told me it should go away. I am wondering is there a chance anything else was damaged from the vibration happening for this long? Thanks

IF the vibration is due to the bearing issue related to the known TSB then there should be no damage to your vehicle. Even with the stock bearing just because it vibrated doesn't mean it would have failed or hurt your truck. No worries.
