    Although I like the monochromatic look of matching flares, then it takes away from being a base model.. Which I like a lot better. I guess I may have to line-x them black or something similar

    I'm in the same boat, but the base model look really grew on me the more I was looking around and out of 15 trucks mine was the only one I found in BC. The base is less common around here which I love.

    Wish I could've seen my truck brand new to compare & see how much its faded etc. Oh well - black linex flares and maybe even hit the bumpers while I'm at it... Although it'll be down the road a bit

    Anyone try Monstaliner on their flares? This maybe a cheaper route than Line X. I've been thinking about doing this after I get tires and a few other mods.

    Thanks, I wanted a bit of old school look. Actually just sanded and rattle can the wheels. I wasn't sure if I would like the white and wanted to go the cheap route first. It's been a year, they are holding up ok. Will powder coat when the tires wear out..
