Lots of self proclaimed experts around.....most basing their expertise on their ability to out-spend everyone else. (ie, The more my parts cost, the better they are....)

I spent 17 years working for a division of American Honda, building shocks and forks for race bikes. Got just a tad bit of background in shock design......and I CONSTANTLY get lectured by alleged "experts" on why they know more because they bought the most expensive shocks on the market.

I feel like there's some venting here.

OP, it's your truck brotherman. I don't enjoy 20"s, but I don't make your payments! You do you, man!

Let us know what you do end up going with!

That tire size is similar to a 285/75r16. There are a bunch of people on here running that setup. You might need to do some trimming and maybe a CMC but it'll fit if you want it to.

Yes. By 'with that setup' I meant w/ a ~3" lift.

Im running 275/55/20 basically a 32 inch tire on stock suspension and I rub the inner part of the mud flap.

Im going to go with a 887s and 5100 to get rid of my rub since I refuse to remove the mud flaps.

Here is mine with nitto terra grappler G2
