Less than a week I had her for and I just installed xb35 morimoto 5500k h11B with OEM Matsushita Panasonic ballast works great rapid start up

I noticed little tiny bit bouncy on right side projector this is noticed more because the hids are much more brighter ...but it has to be a really bumpy road

Also these projectors has a really good distance on output but not so much on the wide

Tonight I'm ordering for the foglights

Why do all these bulbs bounce? I want a kit but if they start bouncing all over the place down a dark road it's gonna drive me insane.

It's a known issue with the 5500k morimoto. My 4500 don't move one bit

Where'd you get the HID kit from?

I'm thinking about ordering from TRS or maybe DDM Tuning. DDM seems to get mixed reviews, but I had a kit from them on my previous truck for the last 3 years and didn't have any issues.

My TRS kit just fried the ignitor module and bulb wiring. Been a week getting them to warranty it. Bought the parts in the mean time.

Thanks, yes I've read the whole thing but didn't realize the 4500k version was problem-free. Cool.

I bought my 6500k from TRS. I don't notice any bouncing on bumpy roads but some others have. Like Aussiek2000 said it appears to plague the 5500k crew. I will say though TRS's rep was pretty active in the forum until people started having issues. Then kind of disappeared when the bouncing issue arose.

    I guess "They Bounced".

I believe I was the first to report the 4500k bulbs fit good and tight. I'm running them on my truck while I wait for a warranty set of 5500k bulbs for another issue. Not sure I'll put the 5500k bulbs back in. I'm probably going to remove my Morimoto LED foglights, go back to stock and install the 4500k Halogen bulbs I just bought (H9 Highs, H11 Fogs). For the high beams, they are a fairly close match to the HIDS. The fogs don't seem to do much on this truck either way.

So is the general consensus to buy from TRS, but not the 5500k bulbs?

With all of the forum reported issues with TRS sold products and support, it amazes me that people continue to purchase items from this supplier. Just an observation.

After reading through the other thread I began to wonder the same thing.
