Tampa Bay Area Tacomas BS Thread

Guess I better get back to work on the Tacoma since citrus is now less than a month away. Whipped up a quick CB antennae mount that I'll try and weld on tomorrow.



Who has a swr meter that could help me tune it either before or during citrus?

 

I thought I remember Frank saying you had one. If you could help me out, it would be much appreciated

You guys know of a good open field about a couple hundred feet from any trees or powerlines somewhere between Lakeland and Tampa where we can meet and get you both tuned up?

I installed my new tie rod end and replaced my front brake lines today. Still have quite a bit to do. Need to power wash my front tires, set the toe, bleed the brakes, change the gear oil in my front diff, install my new DS support bearing, and take the OGT in to be aligned (and maybe somewhere in there, repaint my sliders). I'm hoping to get most of that done tomorrow, but I dunno when I'm going to make it to the alignment shop.

I might not be available until the end of next week to head over there.

same here, tons of open spaces but i'm sure its all private land

 

Parking lots are fine as long as we can be a couple hundred feet from any light poles, trees, power lines, or anything like that.

 

I work in a corporate center would something like this work?
