General question on air conditioning. I once was told by a mechanic a long time ago that it is not good for the compressor for the Air conditioning to be on when the truck starts up, does anyone know if it is the same for the Gen 3

I noticed today that when my truck is in auto mode? The ac is on even when it's throwing heat? As its cold here not sure y the ac would go on when in auto climate control mode

No it won't hurt anything. Compressor won't engage until the engine has been running for a few seconds.

AC is on during "auto" when it is cold to pull humidity from the air to keep Windows from fogging

You can go to the vehicle settings and turn off the auto AC mode.

    To Engage CRAWL
Find a dirt road with a decent incline (don't test on level ground without uphill or downhill resistance or your truck may start rocking back and fourth and going crazy. Must be in 4L to use MTS or CRAWL

    Stop truck in "D"
Keep foot on brake, Turn 4x4 Dial to 4H,
Still-keeping foot on brake, Shift to transmission to "N",
Still-keeping foot on brake, Turn 4x4 dial to 4L
Still-keeping foot on brake, set overhead dial to the middle setting,
Still-keeping foot on brake, press CRAWL,
VERY SLOWLY start to lift off the brake and let the truck drive itself.
