Hella average at best :p Blacking out the grill is where it's at  unless your fender flares are color matched as well, then color match the grille ;)

I finished last semester from home, which was kind of a pain. I just had my 2nd knee surgery yesterday and am planning on returning for next semester on Jan 19. I'm busting my butt in PT to get healed enough to go back.
I don't want to satoshi because I'd have to cut it up to fit my winch!
Still have no idea what you're talking about.... The side badges have always been chrome on silver paint

OOOOOHHHH I get it. I'm color matching the emblem. I don't want it chrome without the chrome grille.
Thought about that.....Or maybe removing them and getting those american flag stickers some people have
Yeah, University of Arkansas. The snow didn't hit Dallas! I wish it did!

Id do the vinyl if I were to do it again. But I have 2nd gen emblems. Color matched grille looks awesome on 01-04s not so much on 98-00

I'm probably not going to mess with the side emblems. They don't bother me

So I was having a friend help me scuff up the chrome on my corner lights today and he snapped off the plastic piece that holds it in the grille, sooooo now I have ordered a new pair in silver. Good news is that's less for me to paint. Bad news is that I now have to wait for them to arrive, and do the turn signal relocation before I leave to go back to Arkansas in a week. All while still rehabing my knee. Yikes.

Oooooh yes. Did some painting today. Some silver, some black. No complete pictures until I wash the truck though, or until I get my flat tire fixed.

Dad came up with a way to fix the broken one, so I think I'm okay there. Now I just have a pair of new ones for if (and probably when) these break again

That's funny cause when I was gonna color match my corners I was driving on the highway and that same tab you're talking about snapped. Had to wait about a week.

Yeah, this is the second time one of those tabs has broken on my lights. Spares are welcome. Haha

Color matched grille and the bedlined fender flares look so good! I am very pleased. It really freshens up the look of the truck.

I also removed everything from my roof and once again have a smooth roof. On the drive from Dallas to Fayetteville, AR, I averaged one MPG higher than I have in the past when I make the drive. The truck doesn't seem to get whipped around by wind as much anymore either.

I also drove with the deckplate in, and that made it so much quieter for the 5 hours of driving. Much better when I got into the hills at 75mph. I still wonder if there is a power difference between having the deckplate open or running it closed and using the snorkel.

What exhaust do you have? I can barely hear the open deck plate over my exhaust...
