What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I'm pretty sure it will cover a little bit of the stickers. I've seen some guys put new ones on.

 

Sorry if you've already answered this but what size tires are those?

Agreed. My 2005 was a Sport, and the first thing I did was take the stickers off. I much prefer the clean look. When I get a minute, I'll be de-badging this one as well.

 

Ordered my Bakflip Revolver X2 today; will be shipping out on January 15th. Probably one of the parts I've been the most excited to get; glad it's almost here. I'll post pictures after I get it installed.

 

Are you happy with the colour match? Mines grey too and a shop close by said hed finance me a snugtop

 

As far as I've been able to tell, it's pretty damn close. The truck is pretty dirty, but I'll get a better idea once it's washed.

 

It is safe to assume most if not all of yall saw the back to the future modeled 3rd Gen, right?

What recovery strap are you purchasing?

 

I see a lot of people going with Bakflip or Extang covers for their beds, is anyone using or have any experience with Diamondback truck bed covers or RetraxPro MX? I'm going to need something that I can use to lock up and secure gear and those two seem to be what I'll be looking for.

 

I'd highly recommend spraying it down with some sort of rubberized undercoating spray. I put the same one on my 2015 and the "powder coating" chipped and was rusting in 6 months hopefully I can save you the hassle I went through of sanding off the rust at least . :-(

They were custom made by the shop who did those trucks. At SEMA they said they had no plans at the time to mass produce them.

 

SnugTop was unable to match my MGM.

And they applied the SnugTop decal on the paint before the paint was fully cured.

 

Yup. They only made three sets.

 

I want a set of the lights & the mud flaps.. What shop was it? I bet a few guys would be in for those if we can talk the shop into it..

edit: taking a closer look, I wonder if the reverse lights are even functional???
