You can look up distributors of the key on his website, but those distributors won't ship. You have to be local.

Yes, that was the deal he discussed. I was referring to the product being unavailable - I haven't heard he's not going to be selling them anymore, just that he's only going to be selling them to the shops on his website, customers will have to go through them.

Obviously they can't be shipped, since the shops have to program them to the vehicle.

Don't close yet, I sent a payment Tuesday. Sent a pm and awaiting response. The website hasn't changed and still has instructions for sending PayPal payment.

You are referring to to very old post. The regular remote key is no longer being sold. The flip key I brought back due to high demand.

I knew what it was. I have such a key for my Shelby, but I'd never seen one for our trucks. Was hoping neneago would provide details of one that's Tacoma-compatible.

Now, I see that the "Toyota Flip Key Scion BAB237131-056 RS3200 Flip Remote Key Switchblade" video on his site shows such a key working with a 1st Gen Tacoma.

May need to try reprogramming my one key...I really have trouble with range and getting the double click to work. Sometimes it takes 4-5 tried to get it to open all doors. Any suggestions anyone?

Two different versions of the remote key were sold, two different version of the flip key also...So People reading your post have no clue what your talking about.
If it's the remote key(non flip) what battery do you have? cr2032 or cr2016?

Mine is the non-flip, battery is 2016. It came installed with the key. My key is only a couple weeks old. 4508083101e186267676fbd88d4332c7_f192f3152c4433dd927efdfcdcc1b541a5a032a3.jpg

That board has a slight delay programmed by the engineer. Press and hold button a bit and it will work fine. Takes a bit getting used to it.

It's pretty aggravating, I love the key but the delay and range is an issue for me. Is there another design with less delay or more range?

By the time I get close enough to the truck for it to work AND hold it down for the delay I'm usually close enough to use the key in the door....

The range is great, made video showing this(just have to press button down a bit). The delay is on all keys no matter what you buy.

    Still stock...
I'm confused... In post #173 about seven up from here, the poster said his non-flip key is only a few weeks old. So are there non-flip keys with BAB237131-056 left? I'm very interested in obtaining one of those for my 03 Tacoma. I'm not as interested in the flip key.
