Ask visa or my wife. They both constantly remind me how much I've got left to spend.
That is the truly sad part of it. People take their religion as part of their identity and when you criticize their religion then you have also criticized them. This is why religion is so corrosive to any debate because no two people will ever agree on what is the one true dogma.

I reserve the right to believe in whatever deity I choose. I also reserve the right to admit that such beliefs are ridiculous in the grand scheme of the universe, but they are my beliefs and I find comfort in them. I reserve the right to poke fun at my ridiculous beliefs, as close as I may hold them to my heart, because of said ridiculousness. I also reserve the right to poke at the beliefs of any other person for the same reason.

You all have the right to disagree with me or any other person in this world. What you do not have the right to do is deny anyone their right to believe what they choose.

Any religion is based on the beliefs of man. Be it Catholicism, Hinduism, Satanism or even Scientology(ism?). They are all made up by us, for our own comfort, for our own ends. Believe what you will, but always understand that there will be someone who thinks that your beliefs are silly. Take what they say for what it is and continue to believe what you will no matter how ridiculous it is.

    Except for one....
And to think I was raised Catholic I was stuck in Catholic schools until 6th grade and I was never informed about "YAHWEH" until recently. I am constantly amazed with what they (priest and teachers) didn't want us to know.
So much for the truth about religion.
