    I drug all of my quilting stuff out last weekend, I'd be more than happy to just hang out and sew this weekend. But I really want to go snowshoeing too....decisions, decisions...

    Both are very time consuming. Quilting is one of those things that I'll do for 10 hours straight and not realize it, not worth starting anything if you can only work for an hour

    Snowshoe! You've spent a lot of time doing for your Mom; nothing like being outside to clear your mind. How's she doing with recovery and PT?

    How far do you have to go to do the snowshoeing. Might be a deal breaker if it's a long drive.

    Mom's doing OK. She gets weird intense pains (I think roaming scar tissue) and pretty much can't do anything. Then she'll wake up the next day and be totally fine :notsure: She's been getting around a little bit more though - grocery store, pacing up and down the driveway. I know she's getting frustrated that its taking so long but I think she's got more strength and mobility now than she did for at least 6 months prior to the surgery

    she keeps forgetting that the doc gave her two recovery estimates - 8 weeks and 6 months. 8 weeks to be able to do basic tasks (shower, dress, etc) and 6 months to be back to 100% health with no restrictions (which she hasn't been in for YEARS). She only remembers the 8 week mark :rolleyes:
