Need some help from the pro's. Need to figure out the optimum valving for the shocks on my new ride. Won't be taking it through to much large stuff, just some smooth rollers. Really just want it to ride smooth so I don't spill my drink. Any suggestions?

Question....please don't answer with Tundra Axle or 9" :lalala:no budget for that until next winter.
I'm about to start SUA.( Deaver H70, TC 12" Shackles above frame) 285/75/16 4.5 bs on rims. Hydro bumps outside frame rail, shocks inside frame. What is the minimum size wheel spacer I can run. Any comments on your experiences would be appreciated.

I dont think you need spacers if youre running the shocks inside the frame, if meant youre running outside the frame I am running 2.5 spacers, you might be able to get away with 2inch but even with 2.5 its close. Same size rims/tires and backspace

I thought you had to, at full flex I though I might rub the bump stops. I'm definitely running the shocks inside the frame, I don't care about the bed space and it makes the shocks easier to tune when the are straight up and down. Good to know thank you.

    Everything.
Nothing at the moment. I'm really only focusing on parts where there is a high demand.

That being said I'll build anything...I just need stock cores to design fixtures off of and do the R&D.

You need to cycle with the wheel on...it may clear...on a few trucks ive seen it rub the bump upper bolt

Oh, my bad. I dont have hydro bumps, I just have my bypasses valved with a really stiff bump zone but depends on how you mount bumps and youll just have to cycle honestly. I dont know if you'll have much trouble with rubbing without spacers

So, some stock rubber mounts would do it? Or you need more?

i would have totally rather paid a grand and had it fixed and done right the first time then have to deal with the shit ive gone through on my motor mounts.

IMO way worth the 800 for the 3.4 mounts and that trans mount.

Oof. That's a big pill to swallow just for motor mounts and transmission mount.

Looking for a few pointers. Finally starting my front LT tonight, heimed steering, fabricated 4x4 spindles, and big brake kit (Solo). Pics to follow as I build. I live in Colorado so mag chloride is a problem for uniballs, etc. First time install for me so I would appreciate feedback.

    Couple questions:

    1. Using permatex copper anti seize, what all places should I hit up? I know misalignment spacers which is what goes through the uniballs I believe. Also non threaded portion of bolts and anywhere different metals would touch. Anywhere else? Is it just the anti seize on those, or grease too?

    2. On the control arm bushings (which came with grease packets), do I only lube up the inside of the shaft that pushes through the bushing? Or both sides of shaft, or even the bushings themselves. My thoughts would be to leave the bushings ungreased and only lube where the bolt goes through.

    3. Any coating needed to protect the aluminum king remote resiviors?

    4. Do the oe cam tabs on the frame need to come off before welding in the Camburg ones? I think I remember something about using a power chisel.

    5. Read the tundra brake upgrade link several times, anything to watch out for?

    6. Using red threadlock on the 4 spindle bolts that go in from underneath. Anywhere else?

All I can think of for now......rear will be a couple months down the road. Have to regear the clamshell to 4.88 to match the rear first aND pUT my t100 axle together.

Trust me I wish I could sell these things for half of what I do. Id sell a lot more. But I would make $50 in my pocket for a whole day of work per set. Id rather hang out at the beach all day ha! The price is factored in after I buy all the metal plate, pay the laser cutter, buy the bushing and hardware kits, and buy bracket cores from Toyota...plus it's all the hours invested in R&D and the fact that no one else is really building anything comparable. When China starts making these things and selling them here for $99 then I'll be out of business lol.
