Roughly $1000 Over Invoice. However, I did not let the dealer know that I was using True Car Pricing. I just used the numbers to help negotiate a fair price. Good luck!

They have to or they will be reprimanded by true car. Unless you are ordering. Those are only for vehicles they have on the lot

Call true car. They won't let them do that.

    Welcome!

You'll have to give us more information before we can pass judgment on your deal (all the options and packages and location). I paid more than that, but I have JBL, 4x4, and a double-cab in California, so we can't compare unless I know if you are getting those things.

The best thing to do is use the numbers at the beginning of this thread and add up the invoice and MSRP versions for comparison. I created a spreadsheet so I could compare the various deals. Otherwise it was nearly impossible to see where they were hiding their profit.

    Good luck.

Are there more than one invoice that the dealer has on each vehicle? The reason I ask is several dealerships in my are refuse to acknowledge the invoice on this site to be real. I hear often "you can't expect me to go to my manager with an invoice price that came from a forum." They do however offer to show the invoice for the vehicles they have. How do I know it is real?

well if they don't believe the forum pricing is correct, you do realized you can cross check the MSRP I have listed here direct from Toyota's website (http://toyotanews.pressroom.toyota.com/releases/2015+2016+toyota+full+line+scion+pricing.htm) and they can cross check invoice pricing at KBB and Edmunds.

I guess if they don't believe those sites, you might want to go to another dealer.

I used the USAA car buying service initially to begin my search, which uses true car for their pricing. My savings certificate stated that the price was, "guaranteed savings on in-stock new vehicles and factory orders." Not sure if true car is different in their practices if you only use their site and not a third party like USAA, but I just wanted to throw it out there that true car pricing can be used for ordering. My dealership also stated that they did have to honor the USAA price, which they did plus a little more.

they pay invoice and then pay destination, TDA, and gas. Their final invoice will be higher than the invoice listed here by those amounts. Tell them to go fuck themselves if they don't believe your forum pricing. We have matched these with several sources and have had them long before KBB or Edmunds.

I priced at 16 Tacoma dbl cab, 2wd, jbl pkg, tow, predator steps. Msrp 36528, dealer said cost was 34508. I know there is more markup than what they are saying. They offered 18500 on my 09 Tacoma, dbl cab, trd, 2wd, 44500 mi, one owner. KBB says just under 20000. I said no, they wanted to start negotiating, but never gave me a price on the 16. They wanted a commitment. I walked out, going to other dealers. I'm not doing business like that.

Do you think this is a fair price? I am looking at the TRD sport with same options and got the same price.

I have another Dealer I'm going to. That dealer never gave me a price unless I committed. Hadd they given me more on my 09, I might have traded.
I'm getting quotes from others. Looks like 1500 off msrp is avg. I think you can do better.

If I do that, isn't there an issue with taxes?

What do others on this forum think or know what these trucks are going for & what's a reasonable price?
