Ok, so we've come to the conclusion that these are great products. We just need better instructions. We are trying to install the HC bumper and swing out. If you guys added color pictures to the instructions, it would help us dumb military guys.

I asked about their bumper vs the competition and actually received a non cookie cutter response. It was very detailed and personal to my questions that I had. That got my business. Not too many companies seem to grasp that simple concept.

For those wondering about the strength of the Aluminum bumpers, have another +1 to Pelfrey.

Got into a minor wreck today at about 10 mph, ZERO damage to my bumper. Only paint scratches to the wing and recovery hook.

I can't speak for the aluminum bumpers but I slammed my high clearance rear into a tree. The only damage done was a pissed off girlfriend with a head ache. I take that back, there were two victims. The tree probably suffered a minor concussion and experienced a loss of sap. I believe it recovered well.

Anyone running the OME block heater plug connection in their front bumper, and if so where did you place the plugin ?

Got my Pelfrey front bumper and Rigid D2's in today! I've mounted the lights and will install tomorrow but noticed something that might help others. If you use the Rigid bracket like the instructions show, they sit too high and the lights are cut off by the top of the cutouts in the bumper. I saw a couple threads where people bent the mounting tabs on the bumper down to accommodate this. It is not necessary. You can mount the Rigid light brackets backwards and it will lower it the perfect amount for the cutout. I will post some pictures tomorrow to explain a little better.

This is how Rigid shows to mount. This way puts the light too high.IMG_20160108_203335.jpg
