I usually drive past the hand full of entrances a couple times to feel it out before popping in.

Which power plant are you referring to? How are the trails? Not looking for any new pin stripes, shoot me a message, I'll be around

The road I am talking about for pictures is at the end of Creek Road in wading river, from there we have the nuclear plant right behind and a bunch of grass land so thought a good pic op.

The trails can easily provide some fancy pin stripes, but that being said I do think you can go in and out and avoid all of that just depending on what entrance and exit we use and how much time we spend putzing around.

My only concern for avoiding every twig and leaf from the car would be since it rained last night there will be some nice size puddles that you may or may not have a choice from crossing since the go arounds are usually tighter than driving through the mud.

    Anyone else wanna go??

Smithtown toyota has a 2013 dcsb tx baja with the auto tranny used on the lot, I made the mistake of going there after seeing from far a nice looking red FJC with black wheels. Not sure if anyone is looking for a trade or buy but that is a some what rare sight finding one on a local lot I think.

I was just there the other day for an inspection. I didn't go across the street so i didn't see the used ones but i thought i'd go take a peek at the 2016's. They only have a few on site, the one i looked at was an access cab. Look nice and has a lot more bells and whistles but the price is crazy. I looked into a double cab, off road, long bed and the msrp was $38,700.....With tax and all the other bs you'd be well over 40,000k for a mid size truck....and getting anything would be a minimum of 6 weeks and more likely closer to 12.... Pretty crazy...I'll stick with my 2012 for now since it'll be paid off in about 10 months and i only have 23k miles on it..

I was out in calverton by the air strip and on the south side of the now industrial park Toyota has a few hundred new cars parked that I stumbled upon, they had every 2016 Tacoma configuration sitting waiting lol like visiting every tri state dealer at one time.

That thing has almost a 40k price tag before taxes for a spacer lift, "cool" vinyl graphic, and really crappy fake headlock wheels. It's not worth it.

My 14 dcsb was 38k after taxes and fees and 6 year warranty extension. Sticker price down to 31,900. I got a $60 spacer lift for Christmas, so I can put 33's then redo the whole suspension later on. And I'm going to get SCS wheels and MTR's and that still won't come close to that added 10k on the tx or TRD pro.

Yeah, i don't think it's worth it either....My 12' dclb, no entune & a 3 year warrenty extension, was only $33,200 out the door. I'm just waiting to pull the trigger on a lift which i'll have to do the rims/tires after as well.

The baja is a used 2013, no way are they asking 40k, you think? I did not ask for prices I only drove in and out of the lot. I'm only mentioning it because it is hard enough finding a used late second gen off road in our general area at a dealer.

It's 39,900 sticker new. Prob only has 10k on it which they'll probably be asking 34,000 because Smithtown sucks

Aside from all the labor you have done yourself, any idea of how much you have put into it all and all (mods, regular maintenance, overhauling, ect.)?

You work over by Island Rock climbing gym right? Pretty sure I passed by your truck over there a couple of Tuesdays ago. I really enjoyed your restoring build!
