With 887s yes, still might need to trim a little bit. With 884s, sure, anything is possible with some cutting.
It should get you close. I have 135lbs off the front, bigger battery, full skids and sliders. With 886s I have about 2.5" of lift on my DC. You could always throw a 10mm puck on there if you want to bump your height up a little bit more.

Billies and Eibachs, Camburg BJ UCAs, Demello hybrid sliders SOS HC rear bumper, SOS front bumper, Warn M80000, fully armored, Safari snorkel, No-slip locker, diff breather, bumper and roof mounted light bars, onboard Viair, 275/70 17 BFG ATs, and a badass sound system.
Thanks! I haven't gotten new ucas yet so I'll probly do them first. From my reading it looks like adding a spacer is not recommended with the 886s. Is anyone here running this? any issues?

    Good morning, OME Guru's.

I've been researching and haven't yet found the exact answer I seek. Would you mind enlightening me?

I'm currently running 5100's set at 1.75" on stock SR5 coils. Wheeler's Progressive AAL in the back. 265/75/15's. Here's my current setup:

    SDC11533_zpsnpwdzug2_c5516f11bb095d1202c1dbf71cd20d36aac11096.jpg

    SDC11595_zpsoil6f4of_6abda6e0a72db411bd2f6711139b14f16f68722e.jpg

    IMG_0316_zps0yn9fdcl_f1a393aed436c9f30c759defc9ff529ad3071f3d.jpg

I'll be adding an ARB and Warn M8000 in the near future. Keep in mind, I'm using an ARB for 05-11 Tacoma's, so it won't stick out as much as the 2012+ models. I would like to maintain a ride height of 1.75-2".

I would also like to retain the 5100's up front. Which coil would be best for my application? 886's give 2-2.5" with the ARB/Winch. Since I have an AC, I believe I'd most likely be in the 2.5" spectrum, with is a little higher than what I'm looking for.

Could/should I run 885's and adjust the 5100's to account for the sag? Should I use 887's with the 5100's at 0" to account for the sag?

    What are your thoughts?

    Thank you!

You don't think 886's will cause too much lift due to my truck being an access cab?

I'd personally rather go with too little lift from the coils and adjust the 5100's to compensate than have too much (2.5"+) and run into the need for aftermarket UCA's and such.

If 886's gave me 2" of lift they would be perfect! I'm just concerned about them lifting my truck too much.

886s are generally going to be closer to 2.5" with bumper and winch. 885s are generally going to settle to somewhere around 1.75"-2" with bumper and winch.

I have bumper, winch, armor, etc. with 886s and have ~2.5" lift on my DC. I agree that 885s are way to go. Though I wouldn't adjust the 5100s if you don't get enough, I would put a 10mm poly spacer on top.

Gotcha, 885's are definitely what I want then.

Do you mind my asking why the poly space is preferred over adjusting the 5100's? I'm not opposed to it, I'd just like to know the reasoning?

I prefer my lift come from the coils and the dampening come from the shocks. Plus you can swap out spacers without having to disassemble the coils in case you want to go bigger or remove them altogether.

Hey guys, I have a pelfrey hybrid bumper on the way and am already running sliders. Currently running OME 885s and thinking of beefing to either 886 or 887. May run a winch in the future, would 887 be ok running hybrid bumper, winch and sliders? Or is 886 way to go and deal with the ride? I'm just worried running a 95lb bumper wouldn't be enough on 886 and ride would be too crappy. Thanks for any insight!

887's carry the same weight as 885. Only change would be ride height.

The 886's are good if you will have 220+ lbs up front.

    Thanks.
I think that settles it, I'll go with 887s. Ill be running 125lbs between the bumper and ifs skid. If they sag a bit down the road when I add the winch I'll throw a small spacer up front.

you are running 887 currently. didn't you order a bumper and are you going to run a winch aswell. are you staying with the 887 or are you upgrading to 886?

I have a 115# bumper and winch coming. Plus sliders. Plus the existing skids. I think I'm going to do 886 after the bumpers get done depending on how much sag I get up front.

I'm assuming I'll need 886's though. But I'm a couple months out on the bumpers so not in a rush.

gotcha...im gonna keep an eye on your build page and see how everything ends up. I am a couple months out from ordering my whole setup and am trying to make sure I do it right the first time. I am thinking 886 cause I want to get the pelfreybilt bumper plus winch and sliders and skids, but that will all come in time after I do the lift. So that means riding around for awhile with the 886 and no weight.
