Couldn't you do the rear springs and just 5100s up front to save some cash? I'm not sure what all is exactly NEEDED.

 

Yeah from what the complete kit has its just the springs for the back and spacers or new assembly for the front. I already have the front lift

 

I would have to get her the rear springs and new tires and she will be set

 

Ah so something like $160 for the rear springs and I don't even really think you need the shocks for the rear, depending on how long stock ones are. Then some SR8s and tires and that thing will be a beast! I think it's awesome when couples are involved with it together it makes it a lot more fun

 

Yes sir but will probably keep her stock wheels for a bit to keep cost sown

 

Probably already been answered but I used Turtle wax rubbing compound to get it off of mine.

You can try Turtle Wax bug & tar remover or maybe Goo Gone too.

 

Anyone here install the am/fm/cb splitter on their 22nd gen? My wife got me one for chirtmas and have been trying to find a write up on here But I have had no luck. Lots of people using them on 1st gen. Just don't know if I have to remove the dash to get behind the radio or can I pull the radio without messing with the dash or if there is a way to get my hand up behind the radio to swap the wires? Thanks all.

 

Why'd they get steps instead of sliders?

 

To get behind the radio you'll have to remove it. You gotta pop the a/c controls out, it just clips in I used a small flathead. Behind there is 4 10mm bolts that hold the radio in, take those out & the whole radio/center section pulls out clips also hold it in.

Not too sure, they use them as sliders though,I don't think Proline makes sliders just yet

 

Wes when you did the radiator support bushings did you use a jack or a pry bar to switch them out ? Thanks.

 

That's bad since steps aren't attached to the frame.

Homie I literally picked the body up with my hands and slid the new bushings in

lol awesome! Haha. There's a lot of discussion on weather to put the small bushing on top or the bottom and vaisa versa with the large one. Also there's debat on weather or not to use the supplied washer above the top bushing.
