I was definitely thinking that. My parents are there right now which got me really wanting to go.

I've been to 3 of the islands and it really is a cool place. I would recommend Kona to experience the people and food. Maui and Kauai for more of a honeymoon spot.

I've been to Kona twice and thats where my parents are at now, definitely our favorite. Maui and Kauai are more touristy/honeymoon for sure.

yeah not worried about it. I'm used to stiffer riding vehicles anyways... as its all I've had (jeep and toyotas, all lifted) and kind of prefer it.

I spent 8 days living in my friends house in Kona 2 years ago. Shopped at Costco and drove his Tacoma around. It's really my favorite island. I went snorkeling with the Manta Rays and that has to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

I did that last time I was there and it was the coolest thing I've ever done!! Did you go at night right by the airport? We go through jacks diving locker and it was phenomenal! That is a must if your in Hawaii. I had the option of diving versus snorkeling but opted not to and I'm glad I didn't.

Because my best friend lived there he knew a couple that did small parties only out if their boat. There were only 4 of us floating out there until the big tourist boats came in.

Ohh okay. When we first got anchored at sunset we had to wait about 15 minutes for the manta rays to show up. There were so many once we got out there though, even on the surface they came and did the huge back flips and brushed up against my stomach, pretty intimidating seeing this come at you.. got the image off google. Don't have my pics on hand.

We were the 1st out and had the floats and spot lights in the water to attract the plankton. Within 30 min we were in the water and a large school of them came in. There were 4 large females with 8ft wingspans swimming. The 1st time one came up the cone of light at my face and turned just before hitting me I about shit. I could feel the water brush by my body. Shit was amazing life altering experience that I needed. I had just broken up with a long term relationship and took off to Hawaii to get my head right while she moved her shit out.

That'll definitely get your mind off of her! haha the first time one came up and brushed up against my stomach I nearly shit myself too. Then they kept doing back flips in the same exact spot so one would brush up 3-4 times usually before moving on. Easily the coolest thing i've ever done
