How'd you get a sentry bot?

 

So I had to repair some tato and corn last night. Today I have a turret that is smoking and sparking but I can't repair it...

 

You're missing the components needed to repair it

 

Also at castle, my two shops are glitching. Neither of their respective settlers wants to barter, only trade. Wtf

 

Ok that makes sense. The repair option wasn't even showing up so I thought it was a glitch

 

Was it during banker's hours? They'll only barter during the hours of 0800-1700 IIRC.

 

Hmm not sure, but they were both at their respective store fronts.

 

I've had that happen before too

 

And I fast traveled back to castle after getting some supplies at diamond city market. Now my turret is repaired. Don't know how that happened. But now they will barter, so that's good.

 

In my experience, they'll be at their storefronts outside of those hours yet won't barter unless the in-game time is between the aforementioned hours. It might be 0759 but those ungrateful bastards won't barter.

 

Turrets can take damage (smoke and sparks) but still be working fine. Normally when you reload they'll be back to normal undamaged looking

 

Got my first "Settlement is being attacked" Ghouls at the Drive-In

Got there and my build bar is half way full and the only thing I've done there is throw the beacon up.

Also, I got there and go looking for ghouls...none to be found...except one of the "settlers" is a female ghoul who wants to help out.

 

Is this the one you get in that scrap yard? I left him there scared to do anything since I came upon it without doing a mission

Theres a mod to get sentry bots as companions. I think it's called "Home Defense"
