Hey guys, I got a TRD performance intake of TW and was missing a few parts, dealer will only sell a hardware kit not individual parts and wanted to see if anyone can help with suggestions or may have them.

You can buy an exact fastener replacement for almost anythin ever made on McMaster Carr. They also ship next day on everything. Might not be the cheapest place but i guarentee you they have that exact fastener you are looking for.

Afe will send anything down to the afe sticker that goes on the lid. They are very helpful.

Cool, thanks guys... I hope so, I'll call them tomorrow! I haven't dealt with AFE yet but I will keep you guys posted what happens.
    - I've dealt with K&N when I needed that same gasket and they sent it for free
    - Another great company is ARB! I got a used bumper for my Taco and needed the rubner bumps and the driving lights since they were faded and starting to crack! ARB explained that it's a known problem from the heat of the bulbs and they sent me everything for free.
Now I'm not into receiving everything for free (even though its nice) but you can tell when a company has great customer service and when they just give you a hard time.20160102_173259.jpghere is the ARB driving lights, I put LED in them which make them much brighter and run cooler

Use this occasion to order a replacement set of flexible coupling from AFE.

For the gasket, it's not very difficult to fabricate one. When doing a service at the dealer, they lost it and i was getting the famous P0420 and 430.

I shouldn't have a problem I hope with that, I ran a K&N intake for about a year and never an issue. We will see, thanks for the heads up

Codes were the result of a bad sealing aroud the maf controller.

You got a 420/430 due to sealing around the MAF Controller? That's really odd... Sounds like a coincidence to me.

First thing, i have not cats at all (DTLT headers + Spec U exhaust) and O2 sims. I know but i was getting those codes on and off for a few moment now when i realized the gasket was not there anymore. Having nothing to fabrication a gasket, i've used silicon to seal it but the seal was not perfect and i still getting the code. Never got the codes since i've installed a gasket. I've fabricated one instead of using the one supply by AFE to be sure that it will be compress when tightening the screws.

I think it can affect the reading of the MAF. Not enough so the FI loop can compensate and still be Inside parameters but enough to generate a code about catalytic converter.

I would say, if some of you have this problem, check that.

    There's our answer.

I don't have any cats either and I also have the O2 Sims. I still will get the p0430 from time to time if for example I am running WOT up a grade or even if I pull a really long grade at highway speeds and I have to dunk into boost, but am still holding O/D. Can't really explain it as my fuel trims and stuff stay in spec, but it is what it is. I am not saying definitively that it WASN'T your problem. I just am having a hard time saying that it's where I would look if getting those codes. Having a wonky MAF can cause more gremlins than a guy knows what to do with though so anything is possible.

You know, when the gasket was lost by the dealer, it was because they change my MAF controller cause of those codes.

A bite like you, normaly those codes seems to happen at WOT or with TRAC operation. And 80% of time it was only 0430 without 0420. Future will say if happens again or not. I'll let you know.

Yeah I'd be curious to see. I think your MAF was fine to begin with. :notsure:

I don't have any codes, it's what Vassily28 was saying that it can cause check engine sometimes. I've ran a K&N with no problems so I don't see the TRD giving any problems. I ordered the MAF gasket and will get installed right so I should be good to go
