    Yes it's a good idea to do it while installing a lift. It only adds on another 20 mins instead of taking an hour to do. In my opinion I would just do it while everything else is already apart like we did on Ricks truck

    The first vid on that link explains why it happens. You would also want a bushing for an 8" clam shell. The install took Levi and I am hour start to finish to do my truck and then another hour to do Joe's truck. Pretty much move the knuckle out of the way, pop the axle out, replace the seal and do the bushing

    It's a bushing for an 8" toyota clam shell for 2nd gens. It replaces the needle bearing, creating a more solid place for the axle to spin and if you watch that vid you'll understand why this is needed/wanted

    Yeah for sure. I'm leaving again tomorrow for work for a few weeks. Hopefully the snow will be good when I'm back in February. I'm definitely gonna be heading out when I get home.
    It's a small enough resort but it's got everything you need for a decent days riding or skiing.
