Really good. Very pleased with the condition they were in. They are surprisingly light, so I doubt they could handle much impact.

Thanks, my only need would be the steps and aesthetics. If I wanted/needed protection I would get sliders.

Added some extra light for backing up. I still need to get a 3 way switch and tap it into the reverse lights. As-is I didn't want it coming on every time I backed up and wanted to be able to leave it on. Hooked up via relays and whatnot so I just need to get un-lazy and buy a switch.

Back flip box cover, Remote Starter, heated mirrors.
I had a Back Flip Box Cover installed. And I ordered heated mirrors. This sweet little truck has started to cost me money (my choice). The exact reason I got rid of my old Xterra (Things started to go wrong with it).

Not near as many things will go wrong with it, but you'll certainly just keep buying upgrades for it! :-D

Thawed it out.....Temps yesterday hit a high of 51 while it was raining. Temps went into freefall during the night....17 now. Rain turned into ice, then snow. Less than 1" total, but everything is a solid sheet of ice. After cleaning off the truck, I decided to take a lap around town to see how bad it was. At the first stop light, I watched a Jeep Rubicon pinball off a couple cars then go into a ditch. Enough for me....Reverse course and back in the house. The Jeep looked pretty new. My guess is it was this guys first experience with a 4wd on ice. The ability to get up to speed on ice was immediately tempered by the INability of a 4wd to stop any better than Granny's Buick on a slick road. State Hwy Dept and or city road dept garages are less than a couple blocks from my house. No activity at EITHER yet. No salt and temps going down further. Good time to watch football and stay home.

Every winter, on th eoccasion of the first snow or ice event, I always see a few newer 4wds either blasting down the highway as if it was sunny and 75, or else in a ditch with a fender caved in. Drivers get a "superman syndrome" when they make that first run on ice in a new 4wd. All the old guys who've been driving 'em for ages are plugging along, slowest drivers on the road.
