    Anybody else ever have an issue with the rear diff leaking? Saw the bottom of my pumpkin looking a little wet when I was pulling out of the garage in the wife's car. Came home from dinner and rolled under my truck to take a look. Seems to have leaked where the nose attaches. Guess I'll check the bolts tomorrow in the daylight, but I haven't had a diff leak on a vehicle since my 1975 ElCamino.

    One bolt on the bottom was slightly lose. Checked all the others and they were fine. Not sure what that all about, but I gues I should periodically check them. Need some brake clean to clean it off. Reminded me that I need to do the diff breather mod.

    Ever pulled the third or is that the factory gasket still there? IIRC torque on those nuts is 18 ft/lbs. If it becomes a problem it's not a difficult process to pull the third and reseal it, could be done in less than 1/2 day with basic tools in your garage.

    Factory gasket. I'm only at 45k miles. Even with the SC I'm not especially hard on the truck. Doesn't seem like it should be leaking yet.

    Something better than the paper gasket?
