Who knows...maybe it's a good thing I can't record my voice with the camera :anonymous:

My comments on other drivers' skills is usually not what I would call "PC" language...

I wear mine everywhere, yet it hasnt hit the ground during any crash yet. Its too hot for wood use after trying, but awesome on the street

Mine is the opposite. Street manors aren't the great. The wind noise is absurd

Glove liners did their job. Obviously makes my hands a little more cumbersome, but still wasn't bad.

    I paid ~30.00 a month for either my 900rr or 600rr. The 900rr being an 94 though.

Age, driving history are major factors. So is full coverage vs liability insurance.

    Nice!
Audio always. I don't hate the wind noise. Wish I would have mounted below my visor so you could hear me though. Maybe later.
I love the scaring pedestrians videos with the rev bombs.

It'll be at least a year until I can get my next bike. (will hopefully be finishing up PD academy next December if everything goes according to plan)

Torn between supersport (CBR600 or ZX6R), supermoto (DRZ or WR250), or a cruiser (Yamaha Bolt)...I'll eventually have a bike in each of those styles, but not sure what I want my next one to be. I'd like to keep my Ninja too if I can afford it, but it may be sold to help pay for the next one depending on how much I can save up before I get too impatient for another bike ;)

    I vote as follows:

If SPORTBIKE: ZX6R and it has to be a 636

    Supermoto/Dualsport: DRZ all day

    Cruiser: bolt or XL883sportster

Couple things draw me towards the CBR over the ZX6R
    • ZX6R has no fuel gauge
    • ZX6R has no stock steering damper
    • ZX6R fuel tank shape makes full lock maneuvers very awkward
However, 636 is the best engine out of all 600 supersports and has the least recalls. I have seen the CBR is reliable as well though.

DRZ would probably be my only choice when I get a supermoto, only problem is I will probably only be able to fit one foot down :)

Harley 883 or Harley Forty-Eight are pretty bad ass bikes. Bolt seems cool too.

The cbr doesnt have a steering dampener stock. Maybe the 1k does, but as far as i know the 600 never came with one.

Another small thing about the cbr is that the tank is an entire plastic cover (not a painted tank. Easily replaceable.

Also the drz is easier to flat foot than the cbr just cause its skinnier. Small detail

Oops was thinking about some of the other 600's maybe. The painted tank is definitely nice if I ever wanted to change color. One of my classmates last semester rode a CBR and he said he loved it.

I am...how shall I say...."vertically challenged". DRZ SM is 35'' seat height, my Ninja is 30.9'', so it would definitely be a change, but I would love to sit on one to see how much it really is.
