Both good kids movies. The great thing about kids movies like that is they are timeless.

Exactly. Even "remastered" they look so grainy compared to what we're used to watching. Still awesome though

 

I'm way behind on movies. Just found out there's a Lion King II

 

And you had to get up, walk to the TV to change the channel, turn it on/off, or adjust the volume.
Now if you even older, the picture was black & white.
How 'bout the damn vertical hold knob that would have the picture flip on the screen.
Seeing I was the youngest, I also became an expert in having to hold one of the rabbit ears and raise one foot to get the channel to come in.

 

From your post, I learned that also.

 

How about adjusting the tracking on the vcr

 

Getting a tape from block buster and having to rewind it before you watch it

 

Beta or VHS ??

Yup yup. My first TV was an old color that the tube was messed up in so instead of black and white it was yellow, brown, white.

 

And let's not forget the AV switch in back of the TV you had to toggle if you wanted to play your video games.

 

Whoa...is this in his house or does he run this as a business? Does he have the Flash pinball game--always loved that one with the continuous background tone that rose in pitch the longer you kept the ball in play.

 

I just came from my parent's house and they still have my old Commodore 64 computer - complete in the original box.

 

Never had a computer but I still have the Atari 2600, both original 70's and the 80's "Junior"

Aren't they working on the 27th movie in that series now? My honorary nephews were watching version 8 or 9 the other weekend.

Loved the Brave Little Toaster when I was kid, but that stupid blanket always pissed me off. What a whiner.

 

That's his rental property. It's a 3 family 3 floor house. It's on the 1st floor and he rents out the other 2. When you go there everything is free except the booze that you bring yourself.
