    STT Pro's look badass for off-road

    ST Maxx look like a really good option for all terrain

    I was all set to pick up some ST Maxx's this year for the F250, but we just got the wife a GMC Acadia through the Costco auto program which comes with a $700 Costco rebate card. Figure Ill use it for tires but they only sell BFG and Michelin for my truck. The KO2's have a bad rep on 3/4-1 tons wearing out quick, so I may just stick with 295/70/18 Michelin Defenders. I have pretty much the same tire on there now but a little smaller (MS2 in 275/70/18). They are nice on road, wear really well, and have a 4,000# rating. 35x12.50 BFG KO2's would be $1200 and Costco wont mount them on 8 inch rims. The Defenders are $900 and they will mount them. So Im kinda bummed about not rolling on 35's, but the Michelins are probably the better option, since I wont be driving the beast off-road, I have the CJ5 for that.
