I have to go there. I hear they are pretty friendly to uphill travelers. Is that true?

    That's good time!

I left at 6 AM for the Charlotte area and got there at about 8 PM when I did it. Stopped in Mechanicsburg, PA, and Roanoke, VA for gas/food.

Depending on where in SC, that could add a couple more hours.

Found out my truck is comfortable for a really long drive at least! And I had never seen a PreRunner in person before then. In Charlotte, it seemed to be about half and half PreRunners and 4x4s. And I found out those people can't drive. The amount of vehicles in the ditch or in the median was unreal, and it was just raining! The friends I have down there told me that's totally normal and they were shocked too when they moved down from NY.

Yeah, we aren't supposed to get anything really measurable or able to be played in but it is great to see it falling. Been too damn long.

I think upper Maine is supposed to get 8-12 from this. That would be nice!

Nice! I'm in the outskirts of Charleston, SC. I actually saw a 3 car accident happen on my way to SOS Concepts this morning lol. So far the driving down here hasn't been too bad. I'm just not use to the strict speed zlimit enforcement. Guess MA is more leanant or just the illegal speed limits there lol. I'm having a blast down here especially enjoying the 60° weather compared to you guys getting snow (as much as I wanna go play in it lol)

I was told that Virginia is really tough about speed and 5 over will get you stopped. I set cruise for the speed limit through that whole state, ended up getting almost 24 MPG that tank.

That was also my first experience of southern accents/friendliness. Stopped for gas in Roanoke and the lady on the other side of the pump looked and talked just like Maggie from the Walking Dead. She started a conversation with me like they do that with everyone. Up here if you tried talking to the person getting gas next to you many would look at you like you are crazy.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. It became almost annoying after a while. I think I prefer grumpy northerners.
