    Happy New Year Zach,

Well I just wanted to let you know that the racks performance is outstanding. The bedrack holds the Tepui Ruggerized XL tent RTT with no problems. The weight of the tent, plus myself, my lady and sleeping accessories are little over 500 lbs. The bedrack distributes that load evenly. Even my plastic railing on the bed of the truck doesn't have a single crack anywhere.
When I pack up to go camping, I would estimate with all the gear and RTT, the bedrack is handling a good 400 pounds constantly with no negative affects to the bed of the truck. Your products are just awesome Zach!!!!!!!! Hope to see you at Overland Expo 2016.

Right now I have some 5/16" carriage bolts slid into the crossbars and then some wing nuts to hold it down onto some hockey pucks. I don't like that method as well as the SD bars are too flexible and the thing rattles all over the joint. If you have HD bars it may be fine, but that is one more way to carry it.

I've got mine mounted (minus the foot plate) directly to the crossbars using 5 carriage bolts, with a piece of aluminum bar stock on top. It's very solid and no rattling. I did have to adjust the crossbars a bit to make them line up with the lift.

Thought I'd throw in my experience with the wind noise. Put my rack on over the weekend with deflector in middle spot and no crossbar in the front. I started my bars from back to front in each of the smaller slots. Driving on the freeway, at 60mph a whistle started. By 75mph it was loud enough that it was annoying and had to talk loudly over it to my wife.

Next day, dropped deflector down to the lowest slot. No whistle at any speeds up to 85mph (fastest I ever go). Only noise was what I expected, typical wind noise from adding a roof rack. Not hard to talk with my wife at all and I even had a phone call for 45 minutes on the blue tooth and it was no problem at all. With radio at moderate level, you don't even really notice it (I don't have loud tires - still stock in that department).

Next, I added a bar up front, in the smaller slot right behind the deflector. First I did it vertically - wind noise was noticeably increased. Then I did it horizontally. Wind noise reduced, but louder than without any bar up front. Those are the only iterations I've tried so far. But I will be moving the front-most bar either toward the back or I'll throw it on my bedrac.

I'm actually very happy with the limited noise - but it took some playing with. I have some left over sound deadener I was thinking of throwing on the roof to see if it helped at all since its just sitting in a box in my garage. I'll update if it makes a noticeable difference to the general wind noise we all should expect from a roof rack.

P.S. Another awesome product from Zach and I'd recommend to anyone.

I'd say at least a month dependant on his work/order load. I ordered mine on the 13 of last month. It's still being powder coated. Should ship this week. Definitely excited.
