I was at CVT over the New Years holiday and checked out the Summit Series that bobby has on his Land Cruiser. They have a true diamond plate floor and the material is much more heavy duty than the standard. Definitely a bad a** tent and I wouldn't hesitate to upgrade if I hadn't just bought mine last spring. Wish I would have gotten some pics of it but you can tell the fabric grade and the flooring is damn near indestructible.

    Cool.

Did it seem comparable to the Ruggedized then?

Please tell me there are other colors than lime green.

I think LimeGreen is it but @Cascadia Tents would have to confirm that.

The fabric is thicker more heavy duty canvas I know that. I can't remember the exact specs but once he has the info up it'll show. And the base of the tent is true diamond plate aluminum and it seems as thick and sturdy as the Delta tool box I had in an old 94 F150. Again I don't have the exact specs but hopefully Bobby will have them up soon. I can say that if/when I figure out a heating system for winter camping and when the gf decides she really likes it I will upgrade. Personally I love the lime green but that heavier duty tewnt would be awesome for some hunting camp/winter camping weather.

Thanks for the info. The specs sound great. Maybe I could get over the lime green............. maybe.

Haha! I agree it is an interesting choice but it looks really good in person. Black with the LimeGreen is pretty cool. Plus I'm an Oregon Duck fan so I guess it just goes with the territory.

He didn't give me any hints on that :( I should have tried to persuade him to let me field test one haha. He was taking his up to the Mt Bachelor area the night of January 1st and I think it was like 1 or 2 degrees that night.

Also have the Tepui Kukenam.. Haven't used it on my Taco yet though. Has only been used on my Land Cruiser(LX) which is what I sold to get my Taco..

Sorry to hear about a few of those issues. How old is your tent? Contact us at cascadiatents@hotmail.com and see if your warranty is still good on the cover. You do have 2 years.
    Thank you,

Sorry it was not me it is one of our dealers in Montana going to the shows.

The tents should be available for purchase in the first couple of weeks in February. We have added a few things and that is why the wait. This summit series will not disappoint. :fingerscrossed:

We are holding off on pricing announcement's. But if we had to guess....it will not be that bad comparably to what is on the market.

The one thing we have noticed camping in this cold ass weather is so far the floor has yet to condensate. The standard tents that were with us did.
