    People wheel without lockers? Weird...

I guess ya gotta go through all of the cool looking mods first. Lockers are not known for their aesthetics.

    Alright fair enough then :D

Not at all! Just in experience last time I went with a large group snow wheeling progress was so slow and didn't get far because a few trucks couldn't get around one uphill turn, then had to turn back because it was getting late. I agree its nice to have like minded people doing something we all love.

its all good man contrary to belief , I DO understand where your coming from. It all comes down to guys realizing and having the respect for the other members on these meets, by recognizing when they should hop in with a slightly more capable rig ya know i love the times out there man even that one trip (my first snow trip :anonymous:) where i bailed right before the top cuz i couldn't make it up this one spot... thats why i left, i was holding you guys up pretty bad, now whoever i have more experience in snow, better set up rig and a humbled ego haha

Hawaiian people always leave their shoes and slippaz outside the house. We go barefoot in the house. That's how you know when you go to a house that their from the Hawaiian Islands.

That is part of it for sure, I was in that spot 2 weekends ago when I went with 2 fully locked rigs on 35's and 40's. Ended up just parking at the bottom and not even trying it since I knew the snow would be too deep for me.

But I agree it would be nice to have more meet and greets. Go somewhere, have a beer and talk trucks.

I already pulled the trigger on it. I might return it and get the smaller one. What model is the smaller one and where did you mount yours?

Mines up against the center consol in the passenger side footwell area. Just used HD Velcro and it's held it really well

yes I have the Bearcat 680 and it fits well in our cramped cab. On Saturday I finally sanded off some of the powdercoat on my antenna bracket and re-tuned. WOW what a difference. Yesterday I drove from Issaquah to Everett and was hearing the same guy talking/singing most of the way.

Been thinking about picking up a hand held cb radio.. anyone have any cons? I like the idea of being able to go on a hike and bring it just in case something happens. And being able to hook up to a normal cb antenna is great.

    Midland 75-822 40 Channel CB-Way Radio ... any opinions?

I used to use that one and the small antenna that comes with it is terrible so I got a magnetic mount 3' whip
