Hey everyone. First wanted to thank all of you who have helped me by posting such great information on this site.

I started out with a stock '09 SR5 prerunner, and have been doing small modifications since day 1. Almost all of them are appearance mods because I'm very picky.

My latest change was new rims and tires. The stock 16's were just a bit small for me. My last car was a '07 Subaru WRX Sti, and I guess you can't get all the "street" out of my blood, because I went with 18's for the Taco.

The wheels are 18x9 BBS RW Truck's in silver. It was hell trying to find a wheel that wasn't either black or chrome. Ended up getting these off craigslist.

I did not want to get a lift at this point, so I had them mounted with 265/65/18 Hankook Dynapro ATM's. These are the same width and diameter as the ever popular 265/75/16. I like the way it turned out.

Other minor appearance mods are a color matched grill and toyota emblem, color matched door handles and mirror covers, black rear bumper, and sockmonkey badging in black. (No chrome left!)

    I'm thinking BHLM next.

    Questions/coments welcome!

Very nice. I think the wheels are what I've been looking for. Would you mind a shot where you can see them a little better? Please!

I've been debating between the two. I think the black will look good with the black decals and bumper.

    Got it from sockmonkey. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/sockmonkey/

    No problem.

KPT, thanks. These wheels look great! They are definitely what I'm looking for. Do you have tire pressure sensors installed and if so, you wouldn't happen to have the part number would you?

A really clean look to the truck. You should throw a lift on that bad boy and maybe a light bar on it. Just my opinion!

I had them re-use the TPMS from my stock alloy wheels. They didn't fit in the new wheels, so the tire shop had to use a strap to secure them to the inside of the wheel. They said they do it all the time with no issues.

Nope, no lift needed to fit them. I have my mudflaps off, and always have, so I'm not sure if they would rub those.

The specs on the wheel are 18x9, +10 mm offset, which equates to about a 5.4" backspacing, which is nearly identical to stock. They just stick out a little further because the wheels are 2 inches wider than stock.

Thanks for all the great comments everyone!
