Good to see there is still life in this thread. It was mid 70s int he garage while I was enjoying my smoke. With the door open, there was still no breeze, was a little stuffy.

Still enjoyed the smoke while cleaning up the garage, haven't had the time to do that sine Halloween.

i have a cigar caddy its just a dry box. it holds 5 cigars and has an insert where you can drip humidor liquid but i put a boveda pack under the foam.

xikar has there own brand and they normally have a gift version. i bought it for my brother in law a couple years ago. it was a 5 cigar caddy and a "outdoors" style torch.

Enjoyed a Macanudo Portofino outside recently.

OK, but with a long, tight draw.

Out of Cubans but looking forward to trying some new brands..................

I forgot about this thread. I am in the middle of building a cigar lounge right now. Should be open in the next 60 days or so.

    Thread resurrection.
The GF and I are headed to Jamaica the first week of February and I was curious if any of you've been. I'd like to be able to find some Cubans while I'm there, but most of what I've seen online have been warnings that they're all fake. Any suggestions on where I might be able to find some legit ones?
Or, barring that, any suggestions on a good local brand to try? I know that Jamaica doesn't have much a cigar industry anymore...

I suggest buying the Cubans in duty free at the airport on the way into the country, pretty safe and much cheaper usually.
I have never had one but I hear that Macanudo's are becoming a pretty good Jamaican smoke.
On another note, I finished up all those smokes you sent me for TWSS. Great selection  Thanks again.

Can't say as I've tried them. I'll keep them on my radar, but I was hoping for something a little more local to Jamaica. :notsure:

I didn't know they had a duty-free at the airport arrivals side! I'll keep an eye out when we land (or at least I'll try to remember to, if I'm not too jet-lagged. I don't fly particularly well, lol)
    Thanks for the suggestion!

Glad you liked them; those 'variety packs' are always kind of a gamble. I'd ordered some before and loved some and hated others, so I was crossing my fingers. Did you have a favorite from the pack?
