That looks like the factory tonneau cover, how's it working for you? Keeping the rain out?

I love my truck, can't wait to lift it so I can actually use the step bars.

Yeah, does a pretty good job. There is a little condensation/water inside towards the tailgate. Overall, I like it a lot.

Hey Bdunna - beautiful truck! It looks like you put some new tires on the stock rims. What size/specs are they? Any rub when you turn hard?

I found a little bit of water gets into the bed, while its raining. Not that bad, just thought it would make a better seal. Honestly worth it.

FYI for those that may not know this re: the factory tonneau cover... depeding on where you have the side rail tie-down cleats, they get in the way of the little pads on the underside of the cover that are there to support it when it's folded up. Make sure to have the cleats moved out of the way of those pads - the cover will then be able to click all the way into place to make a better seal around the edge (need to really push it down, not just let it fall into place when closing).
If you already knew, then cheers. If not, I hope that helps

Thanks man. I'm super stocked. Been waiting the last 12 years driving my 2005 tundra access cab. Should have bought a 2005 taco back in the day.

Haven't had a chance to push it or flex it out, but so far no rubbing.

Went with the safe 1+ tire 265 70 17. Went straight to discount tires after purchase and before wife saw it. They gave me 200 for the old (used tires).

I am debating taking off the front plastic. I have a feeling if I get some rub it will be there.

By the way. Have bfg at long trail or something like that on my old truck and they were noisy or at least hummed quite a bit at about 27 mph. I could not notice any difference between stock tires and the new ko2's. Granted the old tires were only on for about 20 miles. But, I listened closely on test drive and on the way to the tire shop.
