So I told my wife I wanted to get a set of TRD Pro headlights for the truck. She asked "does it allow you to see better?" I was like no, they just look good. She then said "why the f*** would you want something that doesn't improve the truck?" I guess I can't argue with her logic.

I was holding off as long as I could but this really pushes the timeline up. If you're going to do anything ARB, this is the time...just hard to drop that kind of coin so quickly. I didn't really have a chance to talk myself into it.

 

I planned on buying it next month. This time of year money can be tight. But I didn't want to miss out. So I asked the wife and she was cool with me doing it early. It was really short notice for some who will miss out. I feel bad for them.

I thought that too. I would send it back. That's the type of thing that would drive me insane. I'm the guy that straightens pictures on the wall in other people's houses.

 

Oh...and about the LR UCAs...I wouldn't trade mine for TC or Icon or any other. I don't like uniballs and don't want them. I love the wide range of adjustment on the LR arms.

 

What is the advantage of uni-ball then?

 

I don't know. They look cool, but I don't do anything where I would need them. I would imagine they would increase droop a little.
